A giant, terrifying, soothsaying rabbit named Frank (not Harvey) + Jake Gyllenhaal + time travel: What’s not to like? Donnie Darko is a weird, unsettling film, and Donnie Darko is himself strange even by teenager standards, but he does some things we’d all like to do in this 2001 film brought to us by Richard Kelly.
Me too and Harvey as a philosophical contrast.
This makes me want to watch the movie again, even though I did that just a month ago. I recommend the original release (not the Director’s Cut).
