Dead Man The 250 Movies Better than Shawshank

Dead Man is the 1995 film directed by Jim Jarmusch and starring Johnny Depp. What’s it about? A dead man of course! He’s dead but doesn’t know it and taking a long trip to who knows where. Or is he, dead I mean? Is it merely a metaphor or something much bigger? When it’s Jarmusch at the reins, it’s hard to tell in this dark Kafkaesque adventure. One more thing, the main character’s name is William Blake just like the poet, important point, also the soundtrack was composed by Neil Young. If you want to feel weird and have your brain turned upside down, watch it. It ain’t your every day go to the office and then home to a subdivision life sort of movie.
