Perfume: The Story of a Murderer: Is this an appropriate movie to begin 2016 with? Absolutely! Perfume, directed by Tom Tykwer and based on Patrick Suskind’s novel, is a magnificent movie, a unique film of incomparable artistry. It takes us places we’ve never been before. No, this is not a story about death but of life and love, two faces of the same coin. It is in fact a story about the unidentifiable ingredient that separates a cold, lifeless stone from living beings. Perfume: Not the Story of Murderer is a must see for 2016. HAPPY NEW YEAR to one and all!
Yes, that is the one!
Carnival of Souls?
What about the creepy carnival one?
Yeah, I watched it again a few days ago, so it’s much on my mind. I’m of the opinion that there is no movie out there so utterly unique as well as excellent unless one takes a trip through some of the surrealists which suffer from being nearly impossible to understand.
Nice choice. What a good movie that I haven’t seen in a long time.
